Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 is a technical requirement for your payroll application. This guide will assist you to install this specific version  if you are unable to activate this feature using the "Turn Windows Features on or off"  on the Control Panel.

Due to technical restrictions you are unable to install Microsoft .NET 3.5 using the normal methods.

Instructions on how to enable .NET 3.5 framework:

TIP: We recommend that your IT Department assist you with the steps below to ensure the software installs successfully.  

Step 1:

Mount Microsoft Windows 8/ 8.1/ 10 or Server 2012/ 2016/ 2019 ISO or Image provided to you by your IT department or IT vendor.

Step 2:

Open My Computer or This PC to confirm if the image or ISO has been mounted.

Step 3:

Open either Command Prompt or PowerShell. Right-click and select to 'Run as administrator'

Step 4:

Copy following script and paste to Command Prompt or PowerShell and press Enter

DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:h:\sources\sxs

The 'h' in the script represents the drive letter the Windows Image mounted to in Step 1

Wait for the install to complete successfully

Once completed, .NET 3.5 will be activated.
