How to set up an Equity numerical goal plan
Description

The Equity numerical goal plan allows you to set up the following:

  • Numerical Equity plan goals to reach at the end of the reporting period (five-year plan)
  • Numerical Equity targets to reach at the end of each year within your Equity plan

The numerical goal plan setup includes the specific employees and companies to include.

Access the Numerical Goal Plan setup screen

  1. Open your payroll application.
  2. Access your company from the Company Listing screen.
  3. From the Main Menu, go to Equity.
  4. Choose Numerical Goal Plans.

Create a numerical goal plan

  1. Enter a unique 4-digit Plan Number.
  2. Click Yes to add the new plan.
  3. Enter the Plan Date:
    • This is the year and month the reporting period ends
  4. Enter the Plan Description.
  5. Select Workplace (optional).
  6. Select Province (optional).

TIP:

The report only includes the employees linked to the specific Workplace and Province codes. We recommend that you don't select these codes to include all employees.

  1. Select Company to include all companies forming part of the plan.
  2. Choose the companies to include, then click Select.
    • You'll need to enter the passwords to select these companies
  3. Click Continue when you've included all companies.
  4. Enter Industry the company operates.
  5. Click Save to generate plan.

Setup Numerical Goals

Enter the numerical goals for the five-year plan:

  1. Click All employees per Occupational Level.
  2. Enter the goals per occupational group and group.
  3. Click Close.
  4. Click Employees with disabilities per Occupational Level.
  5. Enter the goals per occupational group and group.
  6. Click Close.

Setup Numerical Targets

Enter the numerical targets for each interim period of the year plan.

  1. Enter the year and month for each of the four interim periods. 
  2. Click All employees per Occupational Level for the interim period.
  3. Enter the targets per occupational group and group.
  4. Click Close.
  5. Click Employees with disabilities per Occupational Level for the interim period.
  6. Enter the goals per occupational group and group.
  7. Click Close.
  8. Repeat to complete the targets for all four periods.
  9. Click Close to complete the plan setup.
