When setting up the Company Equity screen, certain transactions on the Personnel History module can be flagged to automatically update Equity information with regard to Skills training.

Skills Training will be any training that puts a designated employee in a better Equity position. For the purposes of Equity Reporting, Skills Training must only be counted if it was attended with the main purpose of uplifting an employee to prepare them for a higher position. This kind of training will help the client to reach their numerical goal.

Equity Training is only applicable to years prior to 2009.

NOTE: If a specific training course will not place everyone who attends it in a better Equity Position, it is advisable to link individuals for Skills Training on their Employee Equity Screen, rather than linking the training course as Skills Training for Equity purposes

To access the Personnel History codes, from the Main Menu:
Click on Personnel
Click on Personnel History
Click on System Codes
Click on Training Codes

Ensure the course is Linked for Equity Reporting.
