From your Sage Business Cloud Payroll (SBCP) homescreen:

  1. Click on Pegg Icon right below the black heading bar on the top of your screen:

  2. The Pegg screen will display, type in the subject you need assistance with:

  3. Pegg will answer your question with a reply that it has been trained with.  Read through the response.  If this does not answer your question, then click on No:
  4. If you clicked on No, Pegg will Search through our Knowledge base for guides that might match your query.  Please view the relevant guides and if none of these answer your query, click on No:
  5. Pegg will then re-direct you to a chat agent, click on the 'Sage Live Chat' link:
  6. You will be re-directed to our Sage Live Chat webpage where you will be able to view our various resources including our Chat Facility:
  7. You will now be able to ask our Live agent your question:

    1. Please enter name or Site Number
    2. Please enter email address that you make use off
    3. You have to choose the correct department, click on the drop down and select Sage Business Cloud Payroll - Technical Support 
    4. Type in a brief message
    5. Click on Start Chat to open up the conversation.
  8. When the Conversation starts, the message that you typed in above will display, the agent will then join the chat and introduce themselves.
    1. Enter any follow up messages in the Type a message here box and press the enter key to send
    2. You can attach documents to the chat by making use of the paperclip button
    3. By Clicking on '...' you will be able to assign a sound once you receive a response, the option to email a transcript of the chat or to change your details
    4. Clicking on the Door icon you can leave the chat
  9. Once you have completed your chat, the agent will log out and you will be able to rate the chat.  Please rate if your experience was good (thumbs up) or bad (thumbs down) and leave a comment on the service you received:

  10. Click on send to give us your feedback

Closing chat:

  1. Click on the Door Icon to End the chat
  2. Then click on the Minimis Icon to hide the window:

TIP: If you are in a hurry and you can type Live Chat into Pegg to be re-directed to the live Chat screen.
