| Resolution | - Close all programs on your computer.
- Go to Start then Control Panel.
- Depending on your windows version, Select either Change date, time, or number formats or Region.
- Click Additional settings.
 - Update the Numbers tab.
Set the following to: - The Decimal Symbol must be a full stop
- The Digit grouping symbol must be a comma
- The List Separator must be a comma
 - Click Apply once you've changed the fields to the correct characters.
- Click the Currency tab.
Set the following to: - The Currency symbol is an R
- The Decimal symbol is a full stop
- The Digital grouping symbol is a comma
 - Click Apply.
- Click OK.
After closing the Customised Format screen, the original Region screen can still be open. If it isn't, repeat steps 2 and 3 above. - Click the Administrative tab and ensure the Language for non-Unicode programs is English (South Africa).
 - Click Apply then OK.
