When your defaults and settings get corrupted, your reports, journals or cashbooks won't function as expected.
You'll need to reset the user’s defaults and settings to allow for the normal functioning of Sage 50cloud Pastel.

NOTE:Defaults and controls store the last used report filters per report and processing settings selected on Journals and Cashbooks.
Journal Settings
Go to Process then Journals.
Select a journal, for example: General Journal.
Make a note of the Reference.
Click Settings and check whichoptions you selected.
These settings are set up per journal entry type. The General Journal settings will differ to the Customer Journal settings. Ensure you make a note of each journal's settings.
Cashbook Settings
Go to Process then Cashbook.
Select Process Cashbook.
Select a cashbook from the drop down list.
Select the Payment tab and check the Reference.
Click Settings and check whichoptions you selected.
These settings are set up per cashbook and per payment and receipt tab. Make a note of your settings for each one.
Resetting defaults and settings
Click Utilities then Maintenance.
Select Reset Default and Settings.
Click Yes on the message and then OK.
Click OK.
Go set up all the journal and cashbook settings.
NOTE:Update all open batches or the wizard won't run.
