| | Turning off the Windows User Account Control |
| Description | Sage applies your licenses to Pervasive when you register your software via a background process. Running Sage Intelligent reports and using bank manager also require background processes. It’s therefore necessary to switch the Windows User Account Control (UAC) off, as the UAC automatically denighs the background process requests. |
| Resolution | - Type UAC in the Windows search and select Change User Account Control settings.
- Drag the slider down to Never notify and click OK.
- Confirm your selection or enter an administrator password if asked.
- Reboot your computer.
Once disabled, Refresh registration for the licences to apply correctly. If you need to add more users or companies to Sage 50cloud Pastel, leave your details, and we'll be in touch. [BCB:435:ZADK - Sales link (blank) for Sage50 Pastel:ECB] |
